Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night | The Stars Make Me Dream Poster
A quiet village beneath a restless sky. In The Starry Night (1889), Vincent van Gogh brings swirling blues, radiant stars and the dark silhouette of a cypress together in a vision that feels both familiar and otherworldly.
This Between Forms edition pairs the complete painting with words from Van Gogh’s letters:
“But the sight of the stars always makes me dream.”
Written before the painting, the line offers a fitting companion to its atmosphere of wonder and longing. A warm cream border and elegant serif typography give the artwork and words room to speak, with the artist’s name, painting title and date beneath.
